Lake Claiborne State Park contains a lake with 6,400 acres of surface area making it an incredible location for fishing, swimming, waterskiing or boating. The lake itself is stocked with two types of bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie and white perch among many more. The park's welcoming beach makes for a great place to sunbathe, relax and even picnic. The park's reservable facilities include cabins, campsites and rental boats.
In addition to all these recreational options, the park has six hiking and/or nature trails that measure out to be about 13 miles when combined.
